About this vehicleThis 1970 BMW 2800 CS is an original. This is offered for sale by the original owner. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven.Seller's Notesbarn find, 1 owner extremely hard to find. 47000 original miles. Nothing faked, nothing fixed, nothing hidden!sorry for the poor photos, let me know any specific pictures you want. Roughly 25 years in storage . Runs great for doing a simple tune up. Carbs work surprisingly well but a need restorationfor daily. no smoke, good power starts well. Tranny shifts perfect. breaks work and were new when parked but needs restoration. power windows work but slow and need lube, radio works, gauges work,heater works. A/c unknow but complete. EXTREMLY COMPLETE CAR.WOOD rimmed steering wheel. Only missing parts I've found are front bumper brackets are missing and trim plugs for grab handles. the grab handle mounts are NOS. Trim is nice glass is perfect chrome is great. this is the perfect resto car.The small rust through is in hood jamb lt and rt and does not go into inner panels. A small hole on outer rocker cover lt and rt and also Inner is perfect. And spare wheel tub has 3 very small spots. A camera scope can be done for anyone in question. Surface spots are present but not cancer at all. rear seat leather is sun baked. Front seats are like new, carpet is great. Trunk is great. Strut towers are perfect. Rails perfect, all floors perfect, firewall perfect. Battery area perfect. Car was in a desert climate its whole life and was put in dry storage in 1995 because the owner was going to fix the front bumper chin area . The black front spoiler chin is an NOS BMW part. i did a clean up and a simple tune up and new fluids and it runs great and drives good for not having a restoration and parked for so many years. amazing original condition. its minimum and what's there is an affordable fix compared to so many i see. this car saves thousands if not tens of thousands and a better car in the end. i took photos of every bad part i can find and all the good parts too. I have camera scoped the car floors and shock towers and rails and rockers are great. absolutely amazing. this car deserves an amazing restoration. so complete and ready to get done. don't miss an opportunity to grab a great project. Car came with all factory manuals and service tags and registrations. i searched for years to find a car in this stage. but timing is poor for me.
