We have just completed a total restoration on this 1967 Z28 Camaro. This car is identical to the Chevrolet Z28 Campaign Car which was used to advertise the new 1967 Camaro Z28 302 model. NCRS report shows it being delivered to a Chevrolet Zone Office. It is all matching numbers,Rare (only 6 made) and beautiful Capri Cream and well optioned with Black Deluxe interior, Rally Sport, 302 Engine with Cowl Plenum induction, Tach and Gauges, Wood Wheel, M21 Muncie 4 speed trans., 4:10 Positraction Rear Axle with square traction bar, 4 piston power Disc Brakes, Front and Rear Bumper Guards, DF Rally Wheels, Etc. The certified original trim tag identifies that this car was built the 2nd week of April. The carburetor is list 3310 dated 7-4-2. Distributor 1111266 Dated 7C14, Alternator 1100693 dated 7C9. Engine block 3892657 assembly date V0318MO, Intake is 3917610, Heads are correctly dated casting number 3917291, The M21 transmission 3885010 assembled on March 19th. The rear axle code is QA assembled on march 2nd, Power steering dated 117th day of 1967. The master cylinder is 348 stamped WT, Power Brake Booster dated 117th day of 1967. Radiator is UH tagged OD tank. Correct Exhaust manifolds RH 3840912, LH 3892679. Some detail items include Spiral shocks, AM radio, deluxe seat belts, and all glass correctly dated for the car. The rear spoiler was not available in 1967 and added by a previous owner. Since the car was already painted and striped when we started reassembling it, we left the spoiler on the original trunklid. That would be the only part of this car that would not be factory correct but could have been dealer installed. This is a rare car that runs and drives great and needs nothing.
