All steel Project Willys sedan except the the front clip and rear fenders are glass. Top has been filled and chopped 3 inches with shaved door handles. The rear windows and the spare tire panel have been filled. The body doesn’t appear to have any patch panels so it’s a very solid car. The bodywork alone on this car cost way more than my asking price. If you have doubts about that first try to find someone that does that type of work and your eyes when they tell you. Whoever did the bodywork did a nice job with it. Original frame is fully boxed with mustang 2 independent front end. Has rack and pinion steering with 9 inch ford rear end with center section. Engine is a 350 Chevy with a turbo 400. . Body is in good shape with a couple small bubbles on the lower rear front quarter and some paint pealing on the roof drip rail. Have the whole interior also except the headliner. No instruments. I also have a few extra parts the go with it. I bought this car from a guy that purchased it from an estate sale. I really don’t know the status of the engine or trans. If you looking for a rare low budget project car that a lot of the messy stuff is done this would be the perfect project for you. It has a clear title also. I took a couple pics of where the paint has the most flaws. Its not perfect but it’s a great start to a rare steel Willys. I bought it as a package deal I needed a couple parts that were in the package. I don’t have the time to put it into a roadworthy condition or else I would and sell it that way but just don’t have the time. . |
