CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Selling my 1977 AMC Gremlin 2.0 4 cylinder. Car does start and run but not well it idles fine but when put in gear it does start to miss and shake a little and will sometimes die but it will run good at highway speeds. I am selling it as-is I do not know much about it. It's a Minnesota car so it is fairly rusty underneath but I don't see anything rusted completely thru seems to be on the surface but no promises. It does have a new exhaust and muffler and a new starter. All the guages work and it does have the 15 gal fuel tank. During the gas crisis AMC wanted a 4 cylinder engine so they purchased them from VW Porshe/Audi. I was told it's the carb version of the 924 Porsche but not certain on that. It does have some body rust which I tried to picture it's not bad but it's kinda spread in small spots on car. Dash is cracked and drivers seat has a bad spot. Heater works also. Carpet looks new. Grille has a few cracks. Glass is all perfect and windows roll up. Has electric fuel pump and also have a brand new carburetor that comes with. Tires and wheels look good. Has matching spare and spare tire cover. Car has no a/c or power steering but it does steer fairly easy. Car is showing 39000 miles but I assume that's 139000 but not sure. I did just replace the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and some heated hoses. I do have a top and bottom radiator hoses for it also. Please remember it is 43 years old and i could be missing something so please feel free to ask questions. I am going to post some more pics in the morning when I can pull it out of garage. Again AS-IS. I will not pay for shipping but I will work with u on getting it shipped. I do have breather cover for the carburetor. Clear Oklahoma title in my name.
