| Stock Original, Car Runs and DrivesRestored Less than 10 years ago including complete engine rebuild, re-chrome, correct faux painted walnut dash and doors, correct new interior(hand done not kit) and many new and OEM parts.Good: Runs and Drives has all original parts lovingly restored less than 10 years ago. The interior and exterior present very well and are correct for the car (restored to period correct not kit). The paint has no major cracks, chips, or flaws.Bad: It has been in storage for over 1 year; It is going to need new piston rings or the like as it smokes when you start it and while running (not heavy but it appears to have some blow down now). Cracked driver's side window needs to be replaced, brakes are stiff even for no power and will likely need to be bed or replaced; no grinding metal that I can detect. Cracks in steering wheel. Radio and clock are present but need to be restored if you want to use them and they chromed over the trunk lock when they re-chromed everything (does not affect it opening or closing). All in All it presents very well and although it needs some work now that it has been in storage it is in very good shape otherwise for the price. | |
