| About this vehicle This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for car shows. Seller's Notes Buyer responsible for shipping or pickup from my house. Please read ad and ask questions before bidding! This is a bare bones old school hot rod. Vehicle Details 1955 Chevy Bel Air wagon, built in an early to mid 1960s style. This car is as bare bones hot rod as you could get. SBC with real original Hooker Headers stamped with the heart logo, nothing else in the form of exhaust, World Class T5 from a Camaro, Stock '55 Rear. Front hubs are out of a 60s Impala so I could run more modern style bearings. Stewart Warner Gauges (speedo is not hooked up due to tail shaft in trans being set up for an electronic speedo) It has torque thrusts wheels with all new caps, rear with Towel City Cheater Slicks, 15x6 front with 6.70x15 Firestones. 1959 Chevy Steering Wheel, Lee Lenses replaced the stock tail lights, Bucket Seats out of a 1965 Galaxy, Stock rear seat. No carpet or insulation on the floor, door panels are old but fit the look of the car. Again, this is a bare bones old style hot rod. The car was completely torn apart when I aquired it, it's been put back together with all new body mounts and bushings, all new wiring harness from American Autowire, all new brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank, springs, and much more. Car is currently in epoxy primer, the roof is an older white paint job. The firewall has been painted a nice off white color. The nitty gritty... It has no side glass in the doors, I do not have the wing window mechanisms but I do have two good pieces of wing window glass, I do have two really nice rear doors that go with it, both with good glass in them. I also have a really good front driver's fender because the eyebrow in the one on the car was a bad repair. The interior is very simple, it has no headliner but I have all of the original bows and they've been coated so they don't rust. I have all of the window frames for the rear glass and windshield, I have about five totes of extra small parts that go with it. It is a car that you can enjoy like it is, take it to the next level or beat the wheels off of it and have fun. I've enjoyed it very much and am sad to let it go but it's time to move on.
