This beautiful custom Corvette is loaded with: Fuel injected 454 big block V8, 6 speed manual transmission, a full aftermarket chassis with rack and pinion steering and tubular control arms up front with a Ford 9 inch hanging from a 4 link out back. The outrageous rake is thanks to air ride shocks in the front that let you drop it down for the show field. Even though the C1 Corvette was never meant to have such a huge engine in it there's room to spare for power steering and power brakes, all polished or chromed to a show quality shine. The 18 inch Intro rims are likewise much larger than stock but look totally at home on this cool custom. The body is in excellent shape with very nice panel gaps and well aligned doors, hood and decklid--even the factory had trouble with that! Inside, VDO gauges take up residence inside the stock bezel while a Kenwood CD player does a much better job with entertainment than the old Wonderbar unit. The smaller diameter, leather wrapped steering wheel makes getting in and out a lot easier, and the power assist makes the larger stock wheel unnecessary. The only top with the car is the hardtop shown: Early Corvettes came either/or or with both hard and soft tops. This is a really nice and well sorted car, with a great sound through the stainless exhaust and short stopping distances thanks to four wheel disc brakes.
