| Hi and WELCOME to my auction for this rare classic gem! *********For QUICKEST reply, I can be reached at 917 SEVEN 96 SIX 4 EIGHT SIXThis is a true ESTATE FIND, low mileage, virtually RUST FREE example of the highly collectible VW Thing in MILITARY green!The car runs strong, shifts well, has 4 brand new tires and a new carburetor. This is a 2 owner vehicle with a clean title. The previous owner bought the car in 1987 and kept it in his heated garage year round. The mileage is documented by the original owner (Original bill of sale to second owner stating mileage available upon request). The car has not been registered since 1993 but has been garaged 100% of the time. The last owner was a WW2 buff and collector of historical military artifacts. He exhibited the car as a clone of the German war vehicle Kubelwagen (see pics 20 and 21 for other tribute vehicles).Shortcomings are few.
