The body on this build was treated to shaved side marker lights and Kindig-It flush mount door handles. The stock front and rear bumpers were also narrowed and tucked closer to the body. SS style stripes in Audi silver were applied atop PPG Ford Mineral Grey paint and all new tinted glass installed. Inside you’ll find the unique design of J.S. Custom Interiors. Berry leather covers the modified original seats, door panels and kick panels. The Battery has been relocated in the trunk between two sub woofers and discreetly hidden behind the upholstered panels. The dash has been fit with a custom Dakota Digital VHX-70C-MAL instrument system and a state of the art Bluetooth custom JVC sound system with duel subwoofers was installed. No keys needed, It has a push button ignition system. You’ll find an Ididit steering column poking through the dash with a Billet Specialties steering wheel perched atop. The steering wheel matches the Billet Specialties Fury wheels and has been wrapped to match the interior. Inside you’ll also see a trio of pedals and a floor shifter sporting a 5 Speed ball. And for a little extra surprise check out the Custom Billet window and door handles w/one touch power windows, all wrapped up nice and secure with a Viper alarm system.The shifter coming through the floor is linked to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This modern overdrive box from Tremec offers low cruising RPM and hard launches. Pop the Ring Brothers Billet hood pins and you’ll see what’s keeping the driver in his seat is a 468 Chevy big block turning a modest 400 RWHP. This big block is kept cool with a custom Griffin Performance Aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. The Holley carb sits on top an Edelbrock intake, and the exhaust is routed through a set of custom built Hooker headers and a three-inch ceramic coated system with electric cut outs sit under the car. A Billet Specialties accessory drive hangs on this big block engine and spins life into the Vintage Air AC system. This Chevelle’s powerhouse drives a Curie 9” posi rear-end coupled with a Hotchkis Performance 4 link coil suspension.With big block power, this car needed to ride smooth so Global West was tapped for a set of tubular upper and lower control arms and matching sway bars. Along with the Hotchkis Performance 4 link in the rear, a set of KONI adjustable gas shocks were used. To stop this beast there is a set of Wilwood drilled and slotted discs brakes hang at all four corners; four-piston calipers up front and two-piston units in the rear. Billet Specialties supplied their billet 5 split spoke Star Fury rollers, in 19s and 20s, and all four are wrapped up with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. This 70 Chevelle outshines many other flashy show cars thanks to its elevated level of refinement. It looks spectacular up close and will not disappoint.
