This FJ40 has been restored and modified for maximum drivability and comfort! Among the enhancements performed on this truck, the original inline 6 engine has been replaced with a full GM Performance L96 V8 Engine swap! To match the brute force of the new power plant, the truck has been coated in Army Green Kevlar with a white Kevlar roof and front grille, giving this FJ a wicked color combo. The entire underneath of this FJ has been coated as well, with the engine bay painted flat black. This is the perfect classic driver and has been built as such.The GM Performance L96 engine came with all new components, including the intake manifold, water pump, injectors, coils, and more. Also included was the GM Performance power steering bracket and alternator kit. To manage the new power plant, the truck utilizes a GM Performance ECM kit which included the fuse box, computer, throttle body, gas pedal, and sensors. The new motor is mated to the FJs original 4-speed using a Marks 4WD Conversion kit, which came with a new bell housing adapter, clutch/flywheel kit and all other needed accessories.
