For sale is my 1954 Buick Special. 264 cubic inch V8 mated to a rare 3 speed manual transmission (3 on the Tree). The car was a display vehicle for a local company and spent time being moved around Tucson, AZ. It's a desert car, and has very little rust to worry about. The only evidence found was a small hole in the rear driver's side wheel well and a small hole underneath the rear seat (doesn't go all the way through). It's a solid car that presents very well.Some of the work done in the past year:-new upholstery on seats and front door panels. Matches the rear panels to perfection.-new thermostat, radiator cleaned and spark plug wires-new battery, this one is the correct one for the car and sits perfectly on the battery tray-new springs (slightly lowered), new shocks and bushings in front. New end links for stock rear shocks-new clutch, new clutch linkageThe car looks great, runs great and draws smiles and thumbs up wherever I take it. It's not a perfect car but it's one that can be enjoyed as-is. Brakes and steering are responsive and have that unmistakable Buick feel. The car glides over bumps and road imperfections. Temp, fuel and amp gauges work perfectly. The clock appears to not be working, and speedometer stopped working after clutch replacement (speedometer cable may be the issue). All lights, turn signals and horn work perfectly. The car is 100% road worthy and is enjoyed daily around Tucson. The car is rock solid underneath, the paint shines well and appears to be the correct colors based on the ID plate found on the firewall. I'm happy to show it to any potential buyers at any time.
