| I am selling my 1952 Crosley CD Super wagon due to a space issue. It does have the 1 piece "pie door" tailgate, which is very desirable. I bought this car 5 years ago as a stalled project from a Crosley collector who was "thinning the herd". The car came from Missouri and it still has a clean Missouri title. I have done a few things to it, including a complete brake system rebuild, fuel pump rebuild, a new battery and a few other things. The car starts, runs and drives down the street. I have driven it on the street to a local show a few months ago (see the picture), where it drew quite a bit of attention. The car is really solid but it still needs some TLC.Crosley built 1522 vehicles in 1952, which was it's final year building cars. It offered 4 models in the CD series which were the Standard Business Coupe, Super Sedan, Station Wagon, Super Station Wagon, Super Coup, plus the VC series which included the Hotshot Roadster and Super Sports Roadster and the FR Four including Farm-O-Road.I don't know if anyone actually knows how many 1952 Super wagons were built with a "pie door" tailgate. My guess is that there were not many.There are many great sources for Crosley parts and information.
