| 1970 Chevelle SS 396 350hp 4 speed project car. Built in Oshawa Canada so its a real SS documented with the GM of Canada paperwork(see pictures). Original motor and trans are long gone. So the car is being sold as a roller. The 12 bolt, boxed control arms, and rear sway bar are still there. The restoration was started 15 years ago by the previous owner and never finished. I purchased the car a few years ago and have done nothing with it except collect some parts. I will try to give a quick rundown of the car. Front fenders and cowl hood are reproduction pieces, doors are original, drivers side quarter is a full NOS GM panel. The passenger side quarter panel needs to be replaced. The body was off the frame and the floors and braces were replaced. The trunk still needs to be done. The frame was blasted, painted and is in very nice condition. I have all the glass except the windshield. All the front and rear window chrome is there. Original tilt steering column along with the tachometer and gauges are still in the car. I have the old wiring for the car. Also the brake and clutch pedals are with the car. Front bucket seat and rear seats are in the car. I do not have the center console. The tires shown are no longer on the car. They were old and not holding air. The car is on old rollers wheels now. The SS wheels are still included with the car. Sorry if it seems like I am rambling just want to make sure everyone knows what they are buying before they bid. No titles for cars this old in NY. I have a current NY state transferable registration in my name. Please look at all the pictures and ask all your questions before you make an offer or hit the buy it now price.Car is sold as is | |
