| This 1975 FJ40 Land Cruiser was originally a hardtop model that has been converted to a roadster. The truck has the original 3.9l F engine and 4 speed transmission with recent clutch install. All major rust has been replaced or treated and sealed. The truck will cruise the highway at 65mph at around 3000rpm with the installed 31" Cooper Discover RTX tires. Transmission and transfer case do not grind or seize. Engine does not knock and runs fine. This truck is driven around town on a weekly basis and does not sit for more than a week (its a good weekend cruiser). The truck was recently rewired with a painless performance wiring harness kit that has been adapted to work with the original Toyota column and switches. All turn signals and lights work along with the OEM wipers. The 4-1 headers and shorty exhaust give the truck a good deep tone without being too loud (truck cruising clip exhaust clip). The headers have been painted with flame proof paint to help control any surface rusting and the exhaust has flameproof clear, again, to help prevent rust. I will include some other parts that I have been saving up with the sale (original starter, shoulder and sub straps for the seat harnesses, Toyota TEQ mudflaps, 54" Bulldog Farm Jack) This is a great classic truck to use as a platform to further restore or drive as is. I have enjoyed driving it all around Central Florida and cruising the beaches and backroads. This has not seen significant off road use (only flat sandy roads and beaches).
