Thinning out my collection of convertible Continentals. In dry storage for nearly 30 years. Runs, drives and stops. The engine has been treated to a full tune-up and runs smooth. New parts include spark plugs and wires, points, cap, rotor, coil, oil change and filter, rebuilt carburetor, new starter, brake master cylinder and all high current wiring replaced. The fuel tank was drained of the 30 year old fuel and has been temporarily bypassed using a plastic tank until it can be cleaned by the next owner. Various fluid leaks. The body is in above-average condition for the year with what looks to be original paint in most areas. There was some bodywork in the rear quarter panels at some point. The floors, trunk pan, rockers and frame rails are in great original shape. The trunk lid is very rusty. The convertible top is in great shape with no rips. The top mechanism has not been tested. The power windows work intermittently. The car runs, drives and stops but needs restoration to be road-worthy. These cars do not come up often in this condition at this price point, so please, no offers - the price is the price.
