1954 Oldsmobile Ninety-EightI will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer."This dream is real!"Here we have a beautiful 1954 Oldsmobile with only 36k miles. It is a wonderful combination of original and restored. Great color combination of Royal Marine and Polar White. This would be a very nice car for all your cruise night events, local car shows, or just own/drive for fun. One of the coolest body styles Oldsmobile ever made and there are not many of these left ... The original owner was John Humphrey who purchased this car in California. He moved to North Carolina later in life, where the car was purchased by the 2nd owner in Winston-Salem in 1985. It had less than 30k miles at that time, and was primarily car show only driven for the next 35 years.Details/Features:The original V8 starts easy, runs well, and makes very good power. The transmission shifts and operates well at all speeds. All power windows work and the A/C blows cold as it should. All working lights, gauges with after-market temperature gauge. Overall, the car runs and drives excellent as a whole (and is quite easy to drive). The car looks great inside and out! The exterior paint is very shiny with no major flaws to speak of. All very nice chrome and stainless, which is a combination of restored and original. The interior is also quite nice. I believe it is original! Engine bay and trunk are both detailed nicely. The doors, hood, trunk all open and close with ease and all body panels line up perfectly. Underneath the car looks good and solid as you would expect. Overall, the car presents itself well and is nice enough to win a trophy at most car shows you attend. A restored version of this car is VERY hard to find at this price! If you want one like this, get it now while it's still available. May not be for sale very long. It took my parents quite a long time to find this one. Please see the photos and ask whatever questions you might have.I reserve the right to end the listing early at any time for the right offer. The car could be for sale locally as well. What could this car be valued at? If you look up NADA, you find that a car like this in excellent condition showing minimal wear holds a value of $69,230.00! These cars are climbing in value very quickly. You might want to grab this one before someone else beats you to it. Hard to find these cars especially at this price range.I welcome personal inspections from potential buyers. Shown by appointment.Drive home or I can help ship this car to your door at a reduced rate via enclosed transport. If you are a long distance or overseas, I will try to work with you on the shipping.
