1968 Pontiac GTO. Matching Numbers True Survivor. PHS Historical Society Documented. April Gold - Gold InteriorI am the 3rd owner of the car. The previous owner had the car only one year before selling. He bought the car from the the original owner. Car runs and drives, good brakes. I have done nothing to car since purchased except change the oil. Stored inside since 2013. Driven less than 200 miles a year since then. Car is all original and not taken a part, everything is there to work with.400- 4 BBL ( runs like a top, lots of power- does have small exhaust manifold leak drivers side)400 Turbo Hydro10 Bolt Rear Posi-TrackPower Steering ( needs new pump, leaking)Power Drum BrakesOriginal RadioBlack Vinyl Top ( great condition)Hideaway Headlight ( fully functional)Car has Lemans- Tempest Taillights because 1st owner had a rear end accident and body shop put those back in ( I have a new set of tail lenses). The rear quarters were also patched in during that repair.Endura bumper is bent due to 1st owner fender bender and needs replacement as well as the hood. ( I have perfect replacement parts found off another GTO- will be sold only with BUY IT NOW price).I have mounds of receipts of work done by the original owner as well as a mountain of new smaller parts. The interior is in real good shape and is probably 70% complete. Needs very little to look great ( carpet, dash pad, small items)Car will need body work, floors, truck, fenders and quarters to be mint.Car is a great driver and with some good body work would be an excellent driver to enjoy. Or go the full restoration route. I have listed everything I know of the car, but if I missed anything I would be happy to answer any questions. It's time for this car to move on and let someone else finish it or enjoy while fixing up over time. |
