I can assist with financing and transport as needed. This 1966 Chevelle restomod was a complete, six-figure, frame-off project. Completed in 2013 with further upgrades in 2019, this one has it all. Big block power, overdrive transmission, performance suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control; they’re all here. Combine that with a smooth look and a killer stance and you’ve got a Chevelle that can really impress. This effort started with a well-used Malibu sport coupe. All compromised sheetmetal was replaced which included floors, quarter panels, rocker panels, and fenders. An SS style hood was installed as well. Countless new parts were used throughout; grille, lenses, moldings, bumpers, seals, gaskets, bushings, mounts, hardware, etc. The body was painted a silver metallic while badging was kept to a minimum, resulting in a very clean appearance. This is further accented by the Ridler wheels (18” in front, 20” in back). The old small block V8 was removed in favor of a 454 cubic inch big block. It was bored +0.030” and fully balanced. It received SRP pistons along with a COMP Cams hydraulic roller camshaft. There is also a set of Brodix aluminum cylinder heads and an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. It is topped by a Summit 750 cfm carburetor. The transmission is a freshly rebuilt 700R4 automatic which provides overdrive for easy highway driving. The rear end is a Ford 9” with 3.89 gears and a limited slip differential. There were many other mechanical upgrades. The front suspension uses Global West tubular control arms along with 2” drop spindles for just the right stance. There are QA1 adjustable coilovers along with a performance stabilizer bar assembly. The 4-link rear setup has adjustable trailing arms with heim joints. The steering was upgraded with a power setup from CPP, while the 4-wheel power disc brakes are from The Right Stuff. There is also a Pypes dual exhaust with x-pipe. The list of new parts goes on and on; radiator, fan shroud, driveshaft, rag joint, pulleys, brackets, wire harness, etc. The black interior was completely redone starting with Procar Rally front bucket seats. The rear bench was upholstered to match. The headliner and carpeting were all replaced. Same with the dash and door panels. The instrument cluster was reconfigured with a full set of Marshall gauges. The custom center console contains the shifter and power window switches along with cupholders and a storage compartment. The HVAC system was replaced with a Vintage Air SureFit unit that looks just like factory but works much better! There is also cruise control and a modern sound system with a hidden antenna. Finally, the trunk was fully finished to match the interior. There is so much to talk about with this car. But the end result is a Chevelle with looks and performance well beyond anything Chevrolet offered 50+ years ago. There is also a large binder overflowing with receipts. If you’re ready for something beyond the typical Chevelle then this one is worth a look. Vehicle Description All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance.
