It all makes for a total package that gives you a value price for one of the most iconic styles of the 1960s. This coupe does a great job in setting both an aggressive and elegant tone. It all starts with the red paint that was an application later in life, and it still retains a good luster that will radiate in sunshine. But it's more than just the color you'll love. 1966 was a great year for Pontiac. The stacked headlights, the broad dual grilles, and the taillight panel that reaches around the fenders are all part of the Wide Track look. There's a premium style here with the black vinyl roof highlighting a hint of flying buttress in the roofline. Plus, there's a black pinstripe to coordinate, too. That full-length streak also helps to show off the curvy profile we love in these Pontiacs. It's the same kind of substance we love on the GTO. In fact, speaking of the muscle cars, this goes for a hint of that appeal with the hood scoop and large dual exhaust tips. There's terrific shine from updated chrome bumpers and trim, but your favorite polish will likely come from the upgraded Boyd Coddington wheels staggered 18/20 inches front/rear for an added aggressive stance. You'll notice a careful attention to detail both inside and out. It likely has to do with the story on this car. We're told this one came out a collection from a Pontiac enthusiast about a half-decade ago, and it has been treated with the right care since. So inside you not only have a full black interior that coordinates with the exterior accents, but it also looks great, too. Newer seating, headliner, carpeting, and door panels makes the interior clean and inviting. There are some worthwhile updates like an AM/FM digital tune with cassette for upgraded driving music, and the factory air conditioning now runs on R134a refrigerant (it will need servicing to fully restore the function.) You have a driver-oriented setup with front bucket seats, a center console in-between, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Pontiac's sporty round gauge package. Pontiacs of this era were great for V8 power, and the 326 cubic-inch unit under the hood is no exception. This has an honest and correct style that's even suspected to be the original powerhouse. Even the odometer is believed to reflect the car's full actual mileage (putting it averaging under 1,800 miles annually.) It has been maintained to be a strong-running powerhouse. That combines with the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and modern/grippy tires to make for an irresistible cruiser. This LeMans celebrates it premium style while also giving you some sporty flair. It all makes for an attractive package that needs to be in your garage. Call today!!!
