1970 1/2 Ford Falcon base Torino. Condition is used with no warranty given or implied. You are bidding on an extremely rare Ford. Ford brought the Falcon name back for the base model Torino in 1970. An example of paying less and getting more. 1970 1/2 Falcons came with vent windows and a post between the front and rear window glass. No carpeting, rubber floor mats - extremely cool. Half year production only making it very rare and extremely desirable. I've seen at least one '70 1/2 Falcon sell for about $40,000. It was a 351C automatic. This Falcon is a 302 2 bbl originally a 3 speed manual car. One of the previous owners put in the wrong transmission, an automatic. No applause from the audience. It doesn't belong. The clutch pedal is there and the hole in the floor also covered over with some sheet metal but easy to remove. I believe the car had a carburetor fire. The replacement intake on the car now is an Edelbrock 4 bbl aluminum manifold. This is a no rust Southern SC car. I had a 1969 SC service record in the owner's manual which is still in the glove box. I believe the mileage to be approx 61,000. The was what was stated in the listing when I bought the car I will check tomorrow or Thurs and make a correction if needed. There are some defects in the car. The hood is rusted on the underside and will need repaired or replaced. It also has some beds in it. There is surface rust in many places, mostly in the interior. The car has obviously been sitting for some time. The dash clear parts are fogged up. The headliner will need replacing. I bought the car with the intention of restoring it however there are too many other cars I want to buy I want to buy and decided to sell it. I have a clear SC title in my possesion and will be glad to answer any questions any bidder might have. There is a buy it now.
