About this vehicle This 1979 Chevrolet Caprice 5.7 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work. Seller's Notes “total loss” on 2007 DMV title That DMV says wasn’t supposed to be issued on this as ‘total loss’ but it is valid title in the computer ,they searched and dated it ,Welfare worker got it done to give the recipient benefits, car needs a vehicle inspection to renew title/register. To get standard or rebuilt title issued. Without a vehicle inspection ,car running ,can only get a salvage/dismantler title .Have the two pieces of paperwork for either choice from DMV and will go to the DMV here in town with , if you would like,for the transfer. they had me fill out the back of the title and they dated it there are no liens on the vehicle. Vehicle Details 1979 Caprice Landau 5.7 , Ran good ,a daily driver , until the fuel pump went out, engine had good power. Not runningsinc 2007 leftside rear corner panel is damaged with Bondo and hole in the bottom shown in pictures Images Exterior Front and rear sway bars suspension looks good Everything looks original except for a big long glass pack, missing radio, ac comp,front window trim chrome air cleaner otherwise it’s all original it has Cruise control, tilt steering, electric windows, ashtrays in the backseats, fuel economy gauge. fuel pump and or carburetor diaphragm issues these parts will need to be replaced to get it to run drive again and the passenger rear tire leaks air bent bead on rim small crack on edge of front glass. Classic Fixer-upper, sold as is. Underneath the car looks normal for a street car no off-road damage. No leaks, all fluids are full , needs oil change and battery if plan on driving it home. another 1980s car with the original valve cover gaskets. Besides the door and body dents and dings ,It doesn’t appear to have ever been in any major accident or rust, other than the rear driver side body damage.
