| About this vehicle This 1965 Ford Mustang is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes Beautiful 1964.5 mustang. Rally Pac - Power top... Very rare, well optioned car. Vehicle Details 1964.5 factory 4V 289 D code with C4 3 speed automatic. Build date June 10 1964. Wimbledon White with blue interior, beautiful early color combination. The “D” code 289 with 4 barrel carb is unique to 64.5 Mustangs. The motor and bellhousing has correct 5 bolt configuration and casting dates two weeks before build date with original motor tag present. Factory AC and power steering with correct early power steering reservoir mounted on drivers inner fender. Updated power disk brakes front with rear drums. Completely rebuilt front suspension including Moog upper and lower control arms, ball joints and idler arm. Eaton coil springs, kyb shocks and spring perches. New tires and alignment. New exhaust, radiator and starter. Motor runs cool and transmission shifts strong. This car drives straight and confident. The body has excellent gaps all panels, floors, torq boxes, trunk are excellent /dry with pinch welds visible. Paint is beautiful and shines. The blue interior combination will bring you back to the 60’s. Has factory rally pac. Lights, blinkers, horn, radio all work. The power convertible top is new. Mileage exceeds odometer.
