1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. This car was restored in 2011. It was completely disassembled for paint and body work. Doors, hood, decklid, bumpers, and all trim was removed. People always comment on how much they love the color and the pictures really don't do it justice. It's a mix of grey green and tan that changes with the lighting. The motor was pulled and rebuilt, and it runs strong and smooth. All electrical was gone through. All of the windows work, including the auto drop function for the rear. The top works from the dash switch, the key switch on the rear quarter, and the custom remote so you don't even have to be near the car. The AC blows cold. The door panels were intentionally left alone to retain the original look and embossed design. It starts, idles, runs, steers, and stops as it should. All of the exterior and interior lights work as they should. All of the gauges work. The interior trim is not pitted like most and even the dash has no cracks at all which is unheard of and really speaks to the cars condition and how well it has been kept over the years. This is a turn key car that is very reliable. Give the keys to your wife or kids without hesitation. The seats were redone this year because I'm just picky like that so they are brand new and look and feel amazing. The car cruises so smoothly and quietly. All you hear is the wind and the horns honking from people waving and giving thumbs up. Allow extra time if you plan to stop anywhere because people always want to talk about the car and take pictures etc. Of all the classic cars I've owned, this one gets the most attention by far, and it is definitely the most enjoyable to drive. You really just forget about all life's issues and the rest of the world fades away every time you take this thing out for a cruise. And the best part is you can comfortably fit six people so you can share that experience with your family and friends. If you've never driven an old Lincoln you owe it to yourself to experience the feeling. You're welcome to come take this one for a drive, but be prepared to fall in love and leave with it. I have sold several classic cars on ebay so buy with confidence. I'm flexible with payment options and will assist in pickup or shipping. I've picked people up at the airport (15 min from me) before and delivered cars to local shippers etc. I'm adding almost 100 HD pics and a video to be as clear and transparent about the condition as possible. This is a very solid and well cared for car that won't disappoint. It is becoming nearly impossible to find an original Lincoln that hasn't been hacked up or put on air ride and big rims. Much less in this great of condition. They only built about 3000 of these in 66 and it's estimated less than 100 are actually still on the road today. The majority of those have air ride and engine swaps because the cars are so popular with the lowrider crowd and younger generation. Pretty soon a car like this just won't exist, so don't hesitate and let this be "the one that got away." This is your chance to own a truly classic, iconic piece of history.
