I am honest and I took the time to make a detailed and lengthly ebay description so that you can have the bidders confidence that you need in order to purchase this vehicle. It is the way we do business. 100% Transparency. CLEAN TITLE on hand. This is not just a average 1968 Dodge Charger, this is our very own VRV Racing Dodge Charger that we used for the company as a model and display car. We cant count how many times during the last couple years of displaying it at events on how many people have been wanting to buy it. At the time we could not sell it just because it was our display. This Charger was a barn yard find near Racine, Wisconsin. No engine or transmission. No interior. YOU GET WHAT YOU SEE. NEW PAINT. We retrieved and brought the vehicle to California. Next step was to begin our Platinum strip service that we offer on our website, which was to remove all interior and exterior parts. We carefully stored and saved all the parts the way we received them. Once all the parts were removed we started cutting off all the major rust parts that it had, which included the trunk pan, tail light section, upper trunk connection arms, rear section caps, driver and passenger side rear quarter panels, side skirts, driver side 2 piece inner wheel wells, passenger side 2 piece wheel wells. We also removed the fenders. We wanted as much raw metal exposed so that we can sand blast the entire vehicle. We believe in doing things right the first time, and this is the best way to restore a car. After we sand blasted the vehicle we gave it a coat of epoxy primer which helps protect the car from the natural elements and helps it avoid a re-surface rust. We sandblasted and epoxy premiered the body/chassis, both original doors, fender, original trunk and hood. Once the vehicle was in this stage of the build we then did research on companies that offer the best to body panels available, we needed to find the best fitment and thick quality metal available. Once we decided that AMD was going to be our best source for parts we began to come up with a list of items to purchase. We then placed the order and the waiting game began to receive everything. After thousands of dollars later/ 11 boxes/ couple of pallets of new parts we had everything we needed to get this car looking new again. This car has over 250+ man hours on the metal work alone. As you can see the outcome, it is a complete transformation. Most people when they do rear quarter panels the cut half the panel, only to replace the section around the wheels but still leave rust on the upper section. We were diffidently not going to allow this, so we replace the entire rear quarter panels for both passenger and driver side. This is a very complex move to make as the rear glass and trunk frame all meet up to both the driver and passenger rear wheel wells and rear quarters. Everything is joint and combined in that section. There are important steps to take when doing this and we accomplished it. We are including all the used parts we took off the car. Original glass includes: rear window, passenger and driver side rear side windows and driver side door glass.
