Hi, I am selling my 1963 Corvette Split Window Resto Mod. I bought this car with intentions of performing some minor restoration, but I just bought another Corvette and need the extra space. I believe this car started out as a 1966 Corvette coupe and sometime in the past someone converted this car into a Split Window. The car even has a 1963 Corvette vin number. Trim tag states 63 837, Trim 490C, Paint 923A and Body 1111. I have copies of previous titles that go back to 1977 with the same vin number. Title is clear and in my name. The previous owner always wanted a big block Corvette so he installed a 502 Chevy crate engine with a Tri-power unit. The engine also has headers, electronic ignition and a 1 wire alternator. He had problems with his left leg so pushing down on the clutch pedal was going to be a problem. So he installed a rebuilt automatic 700R4 overdrive transmission with a cooler mounted near the grille. I have a folder full of receipts of most of the work that was done on the car including the engine, trans, suspension and brakes. The body and paint work was done many years ago so it's starting to show some wear on the paint. The frame and underside show normal wear, but no rusted areas. I do have the front bumpers, but the right side has some minor damage. I consider the car to be a nice driver you can drive as is, or restore as you see fit. Original Split Window Corvettes are bringing good money. Here is a opportunity to have the looks without spending $70k plus. If your looking for a original body matching numbers car this car is not for you. Asking $51,900. Call or text with any questions. Leave message if no answer. No third party sales. No consignment sales. Not interested in placing my car on your websites. $500 deposit thru Pay Pay only. Any checks must clear before car is released, could be up to 2 weeks. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Art 630 664 1161 |
