For sale is our restored 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT finished in gorgeous Candyapple Red over Wimbledon White showing 59,900 original miles. We bought this Bronco outside of Dallas Texas earlier this year and completed the restoration the previous owner started and it is now a completely turn key Bronco. In addition to the gorgeous factory red and white paint scheme this lifelong Texas Bronco was ordered with a number of desirable options, including air conditioning, bucket seats with center console, cruise control, convenience group, light group, the Ranger XLT package and much more. At the heart of this Bronco is its original 400 cubic inch V8 backed by a 3-speed C6 Automatic transmission and NP205 two speed part time transfer case. The engine was rebuilt under previous ownership and serviced/inspected by us, during the rebuild a mild performance camshaft, aluminum intake, 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust was added. The automatic shifts well and performs flawlessly as it should. The 4WD system works as it should. The factory 3.50 limited slip rear axle has had the fluids changed and been checked over. The shocks were replaced with Rancho 5100s at all 4 corners, the front end has had a complete rebuild including new hubs, the steering gear has been upgraded to a Redhead steering box. This is a good “highlights” of what we have replaced but receipts are available upon request. All these upgrades and service make this a bronco that comfortably cruises on the highway at 75mph. I have put almost 500 highway miles on it in the last month alone. The interior of the Bronco was restored back to showroom condition. The factory seats are perfectly refinished in their original red vinyl with chainmail inserts, we had a matching set of new rear trim panels made as well. The carpet is brand new and in excellent shape, I redid the door panels to like new condition and added a set of Kicker audio speakers to the doors while I had them apart. We have fit a Retrosound Laguna radio with Bluetooth to the original dash. Dash pad has no cracks. All the gauges and controls work as they should. Rear window has a new motor and works as it should. We have serviced the AC as well and it works as it should. The interior of this truck is amazing! The exterior of the Bronco is completely rust free and has been refinished in its original Candyapple Red and Wimbledon White. The paint is in excellent shape with no flaws, the repaint was completed in 2019 with PPG material. The body was in excellent shape before the repaint, the truck had just faded. The floors, cab mounts, quarters, tailgate ect are completely rust free and always have been. This Bronco has never had any metal work. We have fit a new chrome grille as well as bumpers due to the old ones being discolored. The factory original racetrack moldings are in excellent shape with very few defects. The removable top has been refinished in it original white. The spare tire is original to the truck and now sports a new white tire cover. All door, body, top and tailgate seals have been replaced. A set of new 15x10 Ultra aluminum wheels have been fit with a new set of 33x12.5R15 BFG K02 All-Terrain Tires.
