1971 Plymouth Barracuda for sale. This is a real 71 barracuda. It currently has a 1972 front fiberglass grill and front end that is removable. This is a bad ass show car and driver. I have well over 120k in this beast to get to where it is today. Keith Black aluminum Hemi with Little shop 8-71 blower with twin Demon 750 carbs. Makes 1000 HP on 10 lbs of boost. I have only ran it 10 passes over a 2 year period with fastest pass of 8:52 @158 in 1/4. You can pedal this car and run 9 flat all day long.It is a monster and draws attention wherever it goes. Motor done by Scott Koffel of Koffels place in Ohio. Trans is built TH400 3 speed. has line lock, trans brake, chute, wheelie bars,4 link braced for track, windows and nets. Cage was certified to 7.50 but I am sure that has lasped as I have not raced her in 7 or 8 years.Everything works and runs awesome. Lights, turns, brakes all good. 15 gallon fuel cell. Paint is excellent show quality and is house of colors tangelo Orange and Plum crazy paint. The cost to build this motor today alone would be 40k. It is real Aluminum Keith Black block. This is a great car to have as a show piece or to show, to race or to scare the shit out of you! It is loud, it is obnoxious, and everything about it says LOOK AT ME. !No regrets, need nothing, nothing will break, not selling you any junk or any hidden problems or scams. This is a good old, Bad Ass Mopar!Selling because I have just gotten older and I am getting rid of my toys. On to other things.Happy bidding.I have added some photos of the inside the gauges and the switch panel. Also, pic of the Chute installed, also please note that the pictures on the lawn show the old exhaust tips. I have included a close up of the revised version. The old style did not give enough ground clearance for street driving. the new version is a single 3" oval with custom heat shield around body for protection.I do have video of the car running so you can hear the exhaust note but it is too large to load. I will be happy to send video or additional pics to serious and interested buyers.I do intend to sell this car, I do not need to, but I want to and I will be lowering the price a bit to gain more interest and hopefully someone will find themselves with the ultimate toy for Christmas! |
