| About this vehicle This 1979 Chevrolet Caprice 5.7 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work. Seller's Notes Took the title in to get it transferred , the 2007 DMV title issued ,the DMV says wasn’t supposed to be issued on this title as a ‘total loss’ but it is valid title in their computer ,they searched and dated car needs a vehicle inspection to renew title/register, they said with car not running and drivable ,can only get a salvage/dismantler title. have the two pieces of paperwork and this title not in my name but signed over to me,they had me fill out the back of the title and they dated it there are no liens on the vehicle . didn’t want to title it as a salvage parts or dismantle title for vehicle given the option of getting it running and having it inspected, have the paperwork for either choice the buyer decides. Vehicle Details 1979 Caprice Landau 5.7 , Ran good ,a daily driver , until the fuel pump went out, engine had good power . Not running now since 2007 leftside rear corner panel is damaged with Bondo rust hole in the bottom of panel shown in pictures .No bad smells , little rust on the top of roof. The rest of the car looks solid, no major crashes,All original numbers matching and not rebuilt yet. Exterior Front and rear sway bars suspension looks good Everything looks original except for a big long glass pack, missing radio, ac comp,front window trim chrome air cleaner otherwise it’s all original it has Cruise control, tilt steering, electric windows, ashtrays in the backseats, fuel economy gauge. fuel pump and or carburetor diaphragm issues these parts will need to be replaced to get it to run drive again and the passenger rear tire leaks air bent bead on rim small crack on edge of front glass. Classic Fixer-upper, sold as is. Underneath the car looks normal for a street car no off-road damage. No leaks, all fluids are full , needs oil change and battery if plan on driving it home. another 1980s car with the original valve cover gaskets.
