| About this vehicle This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 220 S is an original. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle needs work. Seller's Notes I have all the previous owners California registration cards from 1968-1998. Vehicle Details 1965 220s grey market automatic with sunroof and radio delete was Imported into California in 1968.It has power steering and power disc brakes up front. I am the second owner and brought this Mercedes back to life after it was left sitting approximately 17 years. Here is a list of the New parts that have been installed. *re-cored factory radiator *New thermostat housing and thermostat * fuel tank removed and cleaned *new fuel sending unit installed * electric fuel pump installed and mechanical pump bypassed * Coolant flush + new coolant *oil and filter changed Castrol GTX 20w50 * rebuilt both carburetors plus installed new secondary diaphragms. *New Bosch starter *New Bosch blue coil *New points/ cap and rotor *new battery 5x new tires Transmission oil drained and filed with fresh fluid and electronic solenoid adjusted. [New Mercedes transmission filter is also included in sale]. clean title in hand in my name with matching black plates. Body is straight with minor rust and is 100% original and has never been repainted or Re-upholstered. Make realistic offer or trade. The registration is non op and I have 3 original keys for it. Curently starts, stops, and steers but will need the rear wheel cylinders replaced because they leak.
