CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Meet Foxy Roxy. She is an Absolutely stunning RS Tribute, very tastefully restored in 2018 with the perfect blend of classic first-gen Camaro style and modern comforts, safety and convenience. Over $60k invested with receipts and photo documentation to be transferred to new owner at time of sale. Full restoration completed by Evans Customs of Spokane, WA. Owner Jeff Evans & his partner Olin have been invited to show off their work at SEMA on more than one occasion. Their tremendous pride and workmanship really shows through in this beautiful car. The glossy race red with hand-painted white stripes, rally wheels and chrome billet grill with electric hide-away headlights make Roxy a striking head-turner. Powered by a 400 small block with mild cam and Edlebrock 4 barrel carb & Dynatech headers, she came in at 320HP on the dyno at Scott Performance of Auburn, WA when rebuilt in 2018. I imagine you could get significantly more HP with just a few tweaks, should you want that, but she will throw you back in your seat just fine the way she is. The Muncie 21 four speed and 10 bolt posi-track rear end with 3.73 gears make Roxy a super fun driver for both curvy back roads and interstate, alike. With CPP close ratio power steering and brake booster with discs in the front, Roxy corners comfortably and easily and can stop on a dime. One of Roxy's best features is the TMI interior. The black upholstery with white band and red stitch really stands out and is the perfect accent to the red and white exterior. The extra padding on the bolstered seats make for a much more comfortable and stable ride. The console has cup holders, a storage compartment and a discrete charging pad for your phone. The tilt steering wheel makes getting in and out much easier. The digital gauges from Vintage USA and the Retro style bluetooth radio give her some modern conveniences that keep with the more classic look. She is also equipped with a security alarm and comes with two key fobs. Roxy's undercarriage was not overlooked during the restoration either. The subframe is in great shape and has been protected by a black undercoating. She has a 5 qt oil pan, Lakewood bellhousing, new drive shaft, new fuel tank and a nice rumbling Flowmaster exhaust. If you’re looking for a fun driving, reliable first-gen Camaro and don’t want to spend $60+k and/or suffer through the stress of a restoration, then this is the perfect opportunity to get your dream car for a fraction of the cost. No major issues but things to note: I drive her regularly with no worries. May want to make a few minor tweaks, but car is very reliable and drives and handles very well. The Vintage USA gauges could probably be recalibrated. They may be off a little bit, but they do work. Occasionally on deceleration she has slipped out of 4th gear. May just be a simple linkage adjustment with the Hurst Shifter. Driver & passenger windows are a little tight and need a little help staying on track when rolling up. Never bothered to fix it because they do work, and I typically ride with the windows down anyway. I do have two new window regulators that will go with the car should someone care to replace those. Front seats are bolted straight to the floor. If you are taller than me, you will want to move the driver's seat back or invest in some low profile type of adjustable rail/slide. I installed them this way for more head room because the TMI bolstered seats are a bit taller than factory & the OEM rails just made the seats too tall. The washer fluid does not work. A new pump was installed at restoration, but it didn’t work, and I just didn’t really care to bother with it because I never drive it in the rain anyway or get the windshield dirty enough to need washer fluid. The wipers do work.
