CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
This is not a Bonneville but actually a Laurentian made in Canada. This car is considered by many to be a rare bird. It has a 1961 Pontiac body like those made in America but it has a Chevy drive train, frame and chassis. It is a low mileage rust free car with original paint and new tires. It starts, drives, battery charges and you can turn it off. If it were 1961 you could drive it home, but since it is 60 years old it would be best to have it transported. Electrical work is needed for the lights. All glass is as good as new. The front seat was replaced with after market bucket seats. The rear seat, headliner and dashboard are original and in very good condition. 3 speed on the tree was replaced with a 4 speed M-21 Muncie transmission. It has a rare 348 Chevy motor in excellent running condition-no smoke or knocking noises. This particular motor makes the car very desirable. I have a clear PA title in my name. I know very little of its history since I am a fairly recent owner. Check out the comparables on Ebay and you will see that this is a fantastic buy. |
