This was a service car at Lamporte Funeral home in Hamilton, Illinois. Has owners manual with protecto plate and funeral home plate registration from the state paper work. Has a factory spot light on driver fender and a siren mounted on inner fender well. Factory a/c, p/s, p/b power tailgate window. This probably hauled flowers most of the time, but also people, when it was used as an Ambulance. Some funeral home cars were dual service use back then in very small towns. Has the ULTRA rare split rear seat back where a attendant would have sit next to a patient. Was a 327 car, but engine is gone. Car was sold to a local person and engine had a block failure and could not be rebuilt. Has original power glide trans, Car is basically complete other than passenger door panel missing. Good floors, rear storage area, nice tailgate, rockers, and cowl. Very nice steering wheel, clean dash gauges and interior trim. Rear lower quarters have some rust, driver fender bottom, left rear door dog leg along with bottom of spare tire well. Needs a frame patch in left rear wheel area or a frame swap from a 4 door sedan parts car. Average condition for the age. Original paint, and interior. Great untouched original project Clear title.
