I can assist with financing and transport as needed.I think the second generation Buick Riviera is one of the most beautiful automotive designs of the 60's. It has a classy, sleek look that is both sporty and elegant, with lines that flow crisply and smoothly from front to back. This attractive 1967 GS version puts all that on display and is a great example of Buick at its finest. This car has been repainted in its original color of Riviera Charcoal. The paint looks very nice though some flaws can be seen on close inspection. The attractive grey metallic color is nicely accented by the black vinyl top which has also been redone. All brightwork is in good condition too, with the dual Buick mirrors and chrome exhaust tips adding a little extra flair along with the factory GS lettering. The windows have been tinted as well. The body has good panel gaps and, in addition to the paint work, had some rust repairs to the floors and some lower extremeties. The Buick Rallye wheels all wear brand new Cooper white line tires. The 1967 model was equipped with Buick’s new 430 cubic inch engine rated at 360 hp and an impressive 475 lb-ft of torque. This engine has been upgraded with a Pertronix electronic ignition module but is otherwise stock including the Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor with working choke. And as a GS model this one received the unique “Star Wars” air cleaner from the factory. Backing the engine is Buick’s ST400 transmission (essentially a TH400 with a variable pitch torque converter) and a B-O-P rear end. Being a Riviera this car is also equipped with power steering and power brakes (with huge aluminum drums) for easy driving. This car also had factory air conditioning though the main components have been removed. The black vinyl interior appears mostly original except for the front carpeting. It is in very nice condition for its age. The front bench seat with armrest is spacious and comfortable. The rear seat also offers good space for a coupe. The dashboard and slim-spoke steering wheel are true to Buick’s form, and the drum style speedometer is a neat feature. I get a kick out of the dual front ash trays in the dash; definitely a sign of the times. Note the tilt steering column too. The unique Riviera flip-down headlights function properly. So do the horn, wipers, turn signals, parking brake, heater/defroster, power windows, and power antenna. However the factory cruise control and AM radio do not.The Riviera really is a gorgeous automobile with a great drivetrain and lots of nice features. At 50+ years of age it is still a pleasure to look at. But to drive this car is to really enjoy it, gliding down the road with a smoothness and comfort that has defined Buick for over a century. You don’t find many ’67 models on the market, especially with the GS package. This one is turn-key at a very affordable price, making it a special find indeed.
