Vehicle Information Video Description Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this superb well-preserved original GT-6 MK3 Coupe in great colors.Notes from the previous seller:1973 Triumph GT6 MKIII runs and drives excellent and shows very nicely overall with original paint, chrome, and interior all in excellent condition. Very straight body and solid undercarriage with no structural rust. An extremely desirable and collectible late production Mk III model in factory left-hand drive form. A true gentleman’s sports car offering performance, exclusivity and style. Retaining its factory original chassis, engine, gearbox, coachwork, rear axle, and numerous other components. It presents today in excellent condition, with the honest character preferred by Triumph enthusiasts, acquired through years of enjoyment and care.This car was stored on the second floor of a wood barn hidden in between large antique furniture from 1989 until 2017. This car is like a time capsule back to 1973 but lots of work has been done to bring it back to reliable driving performance along with some modern upgrades. A partial list includes these main items:1. Full brake system rebuild including; all new brake flex lines, rebuilt front calipers and new rear wheel cylinders, new original brake master cylinder, all new steel lines at firewall.2. Stainless Steel exhaust system, from manifold to rear along with heat wrap.3. All hoses replaced.4. Fuel tank removed for internal cleaning and sealing. Tank was rust free as car had been stored without fuel.5. Complete suspension rebuild, ball joints, tie rods, GAZ adjustable shocks and new springs6. Rimmer upholstery padding under original cloth seat covers all still in very good condition.7. New Clutch hydraulics, rebuilt shift linkage, new master cylinder.8. Petronix electronic ignition with high voltage coil and silicone spark plug wires9. Wosp gear reduction starter and new solenoid10. New battery11. Complete fluid service12. Carbs rebuilt13. Spin-on oil filter upgrade14. Stainless Steel radiator cowl added15. New carpets16. Cylinder head was removed and magnafluxed. No cracks found. Head was machined flat. All valves were re-seated. Number 2 and 4 intake valves were replaced.17. Original 13” steel wheels with new Kumho Solus 155/80R 13 tires and four wheel alignment.18. Much weather stripping and rubber seals replaced. Have all of the rubber pieces that still need to be replaced.19. Two sets of original keys20. Receipts for the new parts added as well as receipts for work done and some historical records.Car has been stored indoors. There is no chassis rust. There are some minor dings and chipped paint normal for a car of this vintage. The interior side panels and headliner are original and in very good condition. All gauges and switches are original and work. Dash wood in very good condition. Floors under the seats and carpets are shinny red, the only wear on the floors is where the drivers heel wore through original carpet. The dash pads are uncracked and all door locks function. Even the original door buzzer works. Everything works, gauges, the original British Leyland AM/FM radio, lights, horn, windows. A rust free, very clean and solid GT6 chassis and body.
