Up for sale is a very nice 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Survivor that has been very well cared for based on physical inspection. It runs, drives shifts and stops as it should and is in turn key and enjoy it the day you buy it condition. This is not a restored car, it is an 80 year old survivor. The body is rust free and received a repaint with buffed laquer which still retains a beautiful shine. Only one small spot of rust at bottom of spare tire well. The trunk is completely carpeted. The interior looks mostly original with a couple areas showing their age (headliner and rear seat corner). Rugs are excellent and all glass in very nice condition. There is no rust holes anywhere on the chassis. This car was obviously always a garage kept car. This Cadillac retains its original driveline with the 346 V8 engine and Hydra-Matic 4-Speed automatic transmission. This was only the 2nd year available for an automatic transmission. The entire braking system was recently completely redone. Engine has just received a complete service including oil change, carburetor rebuild, new spark plugs, new distributor cap, new points and condensor, and new spark plug wires. Fuel pump was recently replaced. New fuel filter as well and new gas tank sending unit. Car is riding on L78-15” Wide Whitewall Tires. Speedometer shows 39,408 miles and is believed to be original based on the condition of the car. Only non working items are wipers, heater, fog lights, radio and temperature gauge. However all these items are complete and intact. This is an honest description of this beautiful Pre-War 1941 Cadillac based on very thourough physical examination and servicing. I cant give you a complete 80 year history on the car though as i wasnt born back then.
