Nice, clean 1958 Rambler station wagon. The body is in excellent condition as well as the repaint in salmon / black. Have owned the car for three years and has been untouched except for a new carburator. The paint and trim conditions are excellent. The interior is also in excellent condition. Has roll down tailgate window and fold down rear seat. Also have manuals, literature, radio, factory wheels and all glass except vents.The Good: Salmon color - not pink Overdrive transmission Gets a lot of attention. Surf board?, grocery store run?, Cars & Coffee? Tires excellent treadThe Bad: The wife will want to drive it Front brakes pull to one side Crack in windshield (have replacement glass) Tailgate window has some scratches (have replacement glass) Tailgate glass needs weatherstrip Blower not working. Heater core bypassed Oil leak engine / transmission. Suspension bushings poor. Drives well at all normal speeds, no shaking or slop. Turn signal doesn't cancel |
