For your consideration is a beautiful example of a very rare 1974 BMW 3.0 CSi E9 E right here in the United States. Less than 8,000 CSi cars were produced and this car is one of the finest examples currently available in the US. This stunning CSi is very well sorted and ready for your trouble free driving enjoyment and car shows, a turn key car! Overall condition, this BMW is rated excellent. This vehicle has been sorted-out with a meticulous level of detail and attention to reliability, safety, maintenance and cosmetics. This BMW runs, drives, handles, stops and performs the way a BMW should, its easy to forget its a 1974, that's how modern it feels and acts. The 4-speed has been upgraded to a BMW 5-speed! With its far advanced fuel injection system, this ’74 pumps out the power you would expect from a more “modern” car. Interior:There are no noticeable flaws to be found on the interior as it was completely restored in 2013. The leather seats are freshly rebuilt and in exceptional condition, soft with no marks, tears or flaws, they are firm and comfortable. The carpet, dash, headliner, console, steering-wheel, shifter, door panels and the rest of the interior are excellent. All gauges, lights, radio, sun-roof, power windows, locks and interior features work.Exterior:On the exterior, the Fjord color paint shines as it should. Though not easily noticeable by most people, there are some small flaws holding this car back from being a #1 car. ’74 more than likely will be the nicest antique or classic BMW at the local car cruise/show. The 1974 3.0 CSI itself is very rare and the chances of seeing another in general will be slim, let alone in the US.Mechanical: With only 26,750 miles this car runs, handles, stops, performs and feels so solid and proper. The 3.0 engine is original and freshly tuned up, all fluids are fresh. The 3.0 Bosch D-Jetronic electronic fuel injection produces a very impressive 200HP (149kW). The car starts, runs and performs flawlessly. The 4-speed transmission has been replaced with a BMW 5-speed making the 3.0 fuel injected engine work even better. Always reliable! The brakes and Vredestein tires are in excellent shape!Engine Bay and Trunk: The engine bay is detailed nicely and is in OEM/stock condition. The trunk is in great shape with its original components and tools. The tool kit door is not broken, the tools are complete and only in the holder for a picture. They are usually in a bag so the holder doesn't break. Undercarriage: The undercarriage is in nice, original & solid condition. It is not overly restored, it is in the typical condition of a car with 26,701 miles (42,971 Kilometers). There are no noticeable leaks. Extras:German and English Language manuals are included. Along with many receipts. Close to 20k in recent restoration work from The Werk Shop (BMW Restoration Specialists) from 9/2013. There are some extra parts & trim included with the car.
