| First I would like to start out by explaining the history of the car. This is a 2 owner 1954 Chevy Belair 2 door hardtop. The car only has 65,386 original miles. The previous owner decided to fully restore the car from the ground up even though it was in great original shape. During the restoration process he past away and his family sold the car to me and I finished the restoration and now it’s finally completed. This was a perfect candidate for a restoration especially because it was already in great original condition. During his restoration process he took the frame off the body and sand blasted it and re painted it. He then installed all new suspension along with shocks, and brakes and lines. He removed the original 235 engine and powerglide transmission and had them both completely rebuilt. So They currently have less then 15 miles on the rebuilt. He had the differential and drive shaft rebuilt. Every under the hood is rebuilt or replaced. Car runs and drives great. He then put the body back on the frame. His next step was to paint it but unfortunately he past before doing so. I then took over the rest of the restoration which consisted of the exterior and interior. I took off all the original trim, moldings, emblem, and bumpers. I sent them all off to be rechromed and repolished. Even the original hubcaps have been restored. Since it still had the original paint with no dents and minimal dings it’s was an easy job for my body and paint guy. He took off all the original paint and repainted it in a base coat clear coat back to its original colors. Turquoise with an India Ivory two tone top. Very beautiful color combination. Now for the interior- which some of you will have a hard time believing but it’s the original interior. WOW right? My point exactly but please remember this car only hast 65k original miles. All we did was was took it all out and had my wife who is a professional auto detailer clean and reconditioned all of it. She did an amazing job. Looks like new but it’s 65 years old. The seats did not even have a rip in them. While the interior was out my painter repainted the dash. The hardest part was putting the car back together but it’s all back together and very beautiful. As you can see in the pictures every nut and bolt has been replaced. All the lights, gauges, wipers, even the radio all work. eBay only allows me to put 24 pictures but I do have more. This car is now ready for someone who loves the 1954 Chevy Belair to enjoy. A lot of hard work, long hours, and sweat has been put into this car. Looks amazing...
