CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Three year project. Complete restoration I call it 98% complete because it takes couple thousand miles to completely break it in. Less than 400 miles since finishing restoration. Really needs to be consistently driven but runs and drives great. Was all the way down to bare metal, complete frame off restoration. All work done professionally. I got to act like a General Contractor on this one. Body work done by experienced shop in Idaho Valley and had very little rust from the start. Engine shop did quality engine rebuild and subtle improvements to make it better than new. Demon carburetor has worked out great and Ford Racing pieces dress up the engine but don't make it too crazy.Meant to be a subtle, stock looking restoration. Silver is color from 2008 Shelby KR and looks better in person than in pictures. If you're looking for a clean, straight, built to be about stock truck to drive and appreciate, this is it. I love this truck, but found out I love the project and want to do another one. I just don't drive it enough. Have had it now for over a year since we got it done. Always kept in heated garage.Lots to list and just easier to talk about any details you need. Please no requests to sell this truck for me and no trades.Engine - 400, professionally rebuilt (Bored .030), Rebuilt Automatic Transmission, 4x4, Spray in Bed Liner, Adjustable Air Shocks in Rear, P/S, Vintage Air, White Gauge Inserts, Power Locks, LED lights in engine well and inside the bed, dual fuel tanks and digital stereo that fits in stock location. If it needed to be replaced we got it new. LMC and Bronco Grave Yard loved me for 2 years. Get stopped all the time when I have had it out. Just a great looking, drivable '78. Lots more to discuss if you're serious. Mark 205-657-5195.There is some flaking around the window trim, never hooked the Alternator Gauge up, I have locking gas caps I do not use because it is never outside and I plan on keeping the Glove Box Door but will either replace or provide one when shipped, just a tradition when I complete a build to keep something significant and that is where the build name is painted on...Nothing else I can think I would do different except drive more and get it completely dialed in.. Got it out and drove it about 25 miles or so this past week. Just runs great! Also had a good local shop go through it one time before I listed it again. People there taking photos and just commenting on how well it is done. Have listed before and had a number of calls and discussion. Making room for the next one. Will listen to serious offers. Thanks for your interest.
