History and Description:This 1969 FIAT 124 Sport Convertible has been family owned and garage kept since it was purchased new in Vicenza, Italy.It was specially ordered with US specifications and a removable factory hardtop, however without the soft top.Mechanical: The car has not been started in over ten years, but was running properly when last driven.All original with matching numbers.Exterior and Body:The white paint has yellowed some over timeWindshield, glass, lights, taillights, are in excellent conditionThere is some surface rust above the right headlight and at the bottom of the fenders Minor rust areas on the rocker panels by the wheels, which to my understanding, unbolt making this a relatively simple task to repairFIAT factory mag wheelsNice chrome throughout and completeInterior: All original and in very good conditionSmall crack on dashCarpet has some faded areasManually operated windows work as intended8 Track player with radio adaptorOriginal instruction manual/sSpare tire and jack1 ignition key, 2 trunk/door keysThis car is a very low milage for the year and will make an excellent addition to any 124 Sport enthusiast and/or collector.Very few of these cars were made in 1969 as production increased considerably in subsequent years.Please contact me for further information and photos.Thank you for viewing my listing. | |
