| 283 engine has a two over cam, 550 Edlebrock carburetor and 305 heads. Approximately 350 hp. The original engine top end - two barrel carb, heads and intake come with the car in case owner wants to go back to original. The original heads have been rebuilt. The interior is in good condition, seats and head liner have been replaced. Factory power steering. Four wheel disc brake conversion. The mileage on the vehicle has been verified on the title as actual mileage, 36,557. The vehicle's frame is in great condition. The body has some rusted areas underneath. The tires are pretty much new. The vehicle is a true SS with the body having the shifter hole stamped from the factory. The only issue I've had with the vehicle is when you put the vehicle in reverse it needs to be revved up to engage. The reason for selling is to build something else. I have had the car for almost six years, it's been very enjoyable working on and getting it to this point in it's life.
