| Bought in Texas from a mechanic in 1989, he had rebuilt the engine. Less than 25,000 miles on it since then. Runs great! All original except aluminum mags, added retro A/C (new version of under-dash original, cost $3000), painted in 1990’s, some chipping (could be touched-up), original upholstery & headliner (I believe), in good shape. Added heavy duty radiator & overflow reservoir to prevent overheating (these models are famous for). Rebuilt transmission in the 90’s too, not many miles since. Most other engine parts replaced at least once. This car has been babied for 30 years. New glovebox, most dash trim (including dash), door panels, etc. Carpet was replaced, but getting some discoloring again. Ready to take on the road! Hate, hate, hate to part w/ but not practical, for my teen daughter. Brakes and steering are not power, the way it was originally. This car is in northern CA. Everything works, should have heater/defrost blower motor replaced. After-market am-fm cassette player, pony-pack (made for Mustangs). **Would trade for a clean SUV or Jeep & cash. | |
