1932 Ford Pickup Hot RodThis ‘32 pickup is all steel. I finished it to the point where I can drive it and have fun with it a few summers ago. There is less than 1000 miles on it since I put it on the road.It is in Hot Rod red primer. It needs some body work if you want to paint it. It is un-chopped and it is not channeled. The original bed is stock length. It is a blank canvas for anyone who wants to finish it to their tastes. You can paint it, chop it, channel it, shorten the bed, do whatever you want to do to make it yours. Or drive it as is and enjoy it.I have a signed title from the previous owner which is left blank for transfer of ownership. The serial number on the title matches the serial number stamped on the frame. Maine does not issue titles for vehicles pre 1995, so that is why I do not have a Maine title in my name. I also have the current registration which is in my name which has transfer of ownership on the back. I will of course provide a bill of sale, notarized if necessary. This vehicle is sold as is, with no warranty.Cash at pick up is best. I will only accept cashier’s / bank checks if you are very patient. There will be a wait of two business weeks, possibly more, depending on origin of check, for clearing of cashier’s / bank checks before I release the vehicle. I will have the cash in my hand from my bank before I will release the vehicle. Bank transfers are fine but I do not release the vehicle until I have the cash in my hand from my bank. This may also take a while so, cash is best. This is a Hot Rod. It is loud. It is quick. It is a lot of fun. It handles well, but it is a 90 year old truck. It stops well, but again it is an old truck. The buyer must understand that this vehicle will not corner or stop like an ‘05 Honda. The wipers are not wired up. The motor and wiper transmissions are all installed though. The windshield has a crack on the passenger lower corner. The transmission temperature gauge (mechanical) is not hooked up. You will occasionally need to adjust the brakes as they are drum brakes front and rear. You will occasionally need to tighten up the header bolts / exhaust clamps, maybe new gaskets as well. It is an old truck and it will need maintenance, repacking front bearings etc... The car club plaque is not included.ENGINE1968 Chevrolet 327 rebuilt350 crank.060 over forged pistonsPro Comp aluminum headsEarly Offenhauser aluminum intakeEdlebrock 650 cfm carbOriginal Olds / Caddy air filter with K&N elementOEM Chevy Tach drive dist converted to PertronixAluminum radiatorFan guardTRANSMISSIONTurbo 400 short tail shaft (early 70’s ambulance) rebuilt2600 rpm or so stall converterRemote coolerLokar shifterCustom built and balanced drive shaftREAR AXLEEarly Ford Bronco 9” small bearing 28 splinePete and Jakes parallel leaf springsBRAKESBuick 45 fin aluminum front brakesBuick 45 fin aluminum rear brakesDual master cylinderProportioning valvePower boosterLokar parking brake, worksFRONT SUSPENSIONOriginal Ford drilled front axleHairpins1948 F-1 steering boxVintage Superior 500 steering wheelRemovable hub for steering wheelChrome reverse eye springTIRES AND WHEELSCoker tires6.50-16 fronts7.50-16 rearsFord 16” steel wheels powder coated Ribbed trim ringsChrome lug nutsELECTRICALStewart Warner Hollywood gauge panelGuide head lights with park lampsOffenhauser aluminum head light standsPainless fuse boxMG wiper set up (not electrically hooked up)Horn worksDirectionals workFour way flashers workSpeedometer works (unsure of accuracy)Tachometer works.Gas gauge works (unsure of accuracy)Voltage gauge worksOil, temp and vacuum gauges work (mechanical)Single wire chrome alternatorBODYOriginal ‘32 commercial grille shellOriginal steel ‘32 firewall1931 Willys dash panelOriginal steel cab, cowl vent filled(Back panel needs body work)Original steel doors (open and close as they should)(Doors need final welding and body work along bead)Very nice original windshield frame (swings as it should)Original ‘32 bedsidesOriginal ‘32 bed sub frameCustom slide out plywood bed floorReproduction steel tailgateVintage steel Pepsi sign for floor under seatRoof is very niceAll new glassFRAMEAmerican stamping one piece rails, boxedOriginal ‘32 front crossmemberOriginal ‘32 rear crossmemberCustom tubular center / transmission mountStainless front and rear spreader barsFUELHolley red electric fuel pumpHolley fuel pressure regulatorFuel pressure gaugeAftermarket steel ‘32 passenger gas tank, 14 gallonTwo fuel filters in lineSEATThird bench seat from a Tahoe or Suburban cut down to fit(Needs final stitching up middle)Retractable seat and shoulder beltsAdjustable height removable head restsEXHAUSTSpeedway shorty stainless headers2 1/2” stainless tubesSmithy’s mufflersStainless cut outs |
