| 1948 Lincoln ContinentalI will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer.The 1948 Lincoln Continental is recognized as a "Full Classic" by the Classic Car Club of America, one of the last-built cars to be so recognized. It is also the last car produced and sold by a major US automaker with a V12 engine ... This could be a very nice car for all your cruise night events, local car shows, or just drive for fun! Details/Features:The original V12 has been fully rebuilt with receipts for parts. It runs very well and makes good power. The transmission also shifts and operates well at all speeds (I am not sure if the overdrive is working). Both power windows work going down by the switches, but currently need some help to go back up. It does have a new vacuum canister, gas tank, rebuilt generator, and many other new/replacement parts. Working speedometer with after-market temp and oil pressure gauges. Overall, the car runs and drives excellent and is relatively easy to drive for a 1948 automobile. The car looks great inside and out! The exterior paint is very shiny with some minor flaws here and there. Very nice chrome and stainless (much of which was re-chromed/restored at a large expense). The interior is also quite nice with re-upholstered seats. The doors, hood, trunk all open and close with ease. Underneath the car looks good and solid as you would expect. Overall, the car presents itself well and is nice enough for those local car shows. What could this car be valued at? If you look up NADA, you find that a car like this in excellent condition showing minimal wear holds a value of $66,500.00!
