This 1979 Ferrari 308 GTB is in finished in Giallo Yello trimmed with tan leather to match the carpet and door panels and shows just 58,000 miles. It is a US market example that was sold new at Hollywood Beverly Hills Car Co (not to be confused with Beverley Hills Car Club – different organizations) in Beverly Hills, California and remained with the first owner until I purchased it in 2017 (after two years searching for a great 70's GTB).I have performed several major services (performed by European Car Specialists in Newport Beach and most recently by renowned Competizione & Sports Cars in Maryland). These included timing belt replacement, improved tensioners, replaced clutch, rebuilt carbs, electronic ignition, vacuum leak correction, seal replacements etc. totaling some $25k in invoicesRespectful modifications include a Birdman Fusebox, an aftermarket stereo (original comes with the car) and Pertronix ignition. Shod with correct Michelin tires.A fire extinguisher has been added behind the driver’s seat, and the A/C system was converted to R134 and charged.All instruments function great. AC was recently serviced and blows cold.An original CA car, recently moved to DC in September 2018. Smog equipment wasn’t installed when I purchased it but equipment does come with the car. This is an honest car - everything works – an excellent driver that always draws smiles. It drives as a Ferrari should – quick off the line, never overheats, solid and stable at speed.
