CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
I'm selling my 1975 Ford Bronco Sport. The Bronco just underwent an extensive restoration and is in excellent condition. I hate to sell it, but, unfortunately, I'm left with no choice. This ride is the epitome of #'Merica. While there's certainly too much to list, I'll do my best:When I bought the truck, it was in pretty good shape, but had some rust spots. The rust that existed was either cut out and patched or the entire sheet metal was removed and replaced (i.e. floors, wheel tubs, etc.). The underbody was sanded down and fully coated so it will last decades after I'm long dead and gone!! This is a low mileage example with only +/-75,000 ORIGINAL miles. There have been less than 100 miles added since completion of the restoration. The truck is sporting a 6 inch Wild Horses suspension lift and it has NO BODY LIFT, ALL SUSPENSION. It rides surprisingly smooth with the coils for as big as it is... It sits on 37" tires that are basically brand new (they still have the nipples ... not the little ones either, these nipples are straight out of national geographic)DUH! It's 4WD with the super desirable Chromoly Dana 44 front axle and twin stick setup. The truck is powered by a strong running 302 motor that was rebuilt years ago. I added an additional accessory fan to help cool the motor on those hot days and it has a nice dual exhaust so you can still hear this puppy purr over the wind whistlin' in your earsPower is put to the mud/trail/asphalt eating monster tires via a rebuilt C4 Automatic transmission through a Cheetah SCS shifter. The truck has a new transfer case as well. There are 2 fuel tanks (a primary and an auxiliary) as well as a switch for the driver to change tanks in case one runs out. Both are run by independent electric fuel pumps, wired to the ignition. The rear tank was replaced during the restoration and the auxiliary tank is a newer plastic unit, so no issues or long-term concerns for rust! It's like double-fisting fun... When one side's out, just switch to the other and keep on keepin' on!!It has a brand new stereo head unit built for marine use and 2 speakers sitting behind the driver and passenger seats. The dash is brand new and went into the paint booth with the truck to match the bright, glistening white paint everywhere else on the truck. In addition to a new dash, the gauges are new as well. Unfortunately, I have gone through 2 voltage regulators and haven't been able to get it fixed up right... The speedo works, but the other gauges could use some attention (about the only thing on this truck that isn't almost perfect). The original blue air cleaner was restored and replaced. The truck has POWER STEERING and POWER DISC BRAKES up front. Big deal on these old trucks... If you're old like me and need to wear Depends anyways, it's not as big of a deal... But my smokin' hot trophy wife (truck is way cheaper in the long run) about soiled her panties in one of these older trucks with drum brakes... Funny to watch, not so funny to deal with the fallout. Needless to say, huge PLUS to have disc brakes on this beast!! In addition to the crucial parts, this truck also has the pretty to go with it to give it the full package (kinda like a supermodel that will leave you crying, shaking and sucking your thumb in the corner after a little hanky panky)... It underwent extensive body work to make sure everything was solid before paint. It got a Nancy Pelosi liberal coat of paint and clear as well as some devious Satin Black trim on the winch-capable front bumper with bull bar, rear bumper, fender flares, emblems, wheels and window trim. Some other goodies it received were brand new door panels, LED Headlights (hella bright), blacked out marker lights, new interior and rhino liner on the new metal inside. Also added a black billet steering wheel. If you have to ask your wife before buying it, it's probably not the right truck for you.If you are the wife and you're still reading, you should probably buy it If your other car is a Prius, it's probably not the right truck for youIf you plan to ask if it has AC, it's probably not the right truck for youIf you use the word "'merica" as a verb, this might be the right truck for youIf you're under 5ft 6, you're gonna need a ladder to climb up into this monsterIf you rock a mullet.... dude, seriously, why are you rocking a mullet? That went out of style in the 80'sIn all seriousness, I've owned a lot of cars in my life and the early model Broncos are one of my all time favorites. They're fun to drive, get tons of attention and look incredible. In my opinion, this is one of the best looking ones on the market and their values continue to rise. Get it now and hold onto it as a retirement investment that you can play with in the meantime! Now for the nonsensical jargon that my ridiculously overpriced Richmond, VA lawyer buddy told me I have to include: the truck is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. It is also sold as-is, where-is with no warranties express or implied. If you're interested, shoot me a message or make me an offer! Worst I can say is no!
