1968 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang Fastback 428-V/8-4V PROJECT from MustangBeginnings We really don’t want to sell our only Shelby, but we may have to. This is a REAL 1968 Shelby Ford Mustang GT500 Fastback, GT “S” Code Shelby’s came with a 428 Police Interceptor engines with a 4 Barrel Carburetor. There is nothing slow about this car. And with the new movie coming out “Ford vs. Ferrrari”, Shelby Mustangs are going to be even more popular and worth more than ever before. We have the correct 428 block for this car, and we may have the 428 heads you will need, but you will need to acquire the other items needed to rebuild the engine Original color- White with Black interior Price includes the engine block and transmission, which are not in the car at the moment. Please take a look at the Marti report attached to confirm how the Shelby came optioned. Options included Power steering and Power disk brakes, plus Tilt-Away Steering wheel, extra cooling package, visibility group, tachometer, and interior décor group. We have correct front seats, and the fold down “Sport Deck” rear seat. Of course, you will need a new carpet, dash pad, head liner, door panels, etc. Please take a look at some of the pictures at the end to see how White 68 GT500 Shelby will look when fully restored.
