CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
I am selling my 1969 Buick skylark custom. Car is very clean for its age. It does have a few surface rust spots that you can see in the pictures. I would like to keep the car, however, I have no place to store it and it has been sitting outside for the last two years. This is being sold AS-IS. It has the original paint job. window seals need replacing water gets on rug when the rain blows the wrong way. The underneath of the car is amazing. The transmission was just rebuilt and painted so it is back to its original new condition. Also has a new battery and terminals, spark plugs, carburetor, as well as a new Bluetooth digital screen radio. It has a mic under the steering wheel so you can talk on the phone through the radio. (this is a new radio just installed earlier this year). The only flaw electronically that I can think of is the gas gauge. It does work, however, when it reads a quarter of a tank full it is actually almost empty. The needle also goes above the full line when it is full. Not sure if there is a way to adjust that or not. Other than that the electric windows work well. all the lights work great. During spring-summer and fall here in New York this car is my daily driver and still currently is. I constantly get compliments on how nice of shape this car is in for the year. I would hate to see a nice car like this rust out because I have no place to store it inside. Also has all new tires bought in April of this year. I keep getting told not to sell it, but it really needs a nice place to be stored indoors. When the time is right I know I will find another like this car. Oh, and it also has the original floor mats. Even though it is in nice shape, the surface rust needs to be fixed asap. They are visible in the photos.
