| Up for sale is a really nice 1955 Ford Crown Victoria with 49,121 miles showing on the odometer. I am listing this car for my uncle. The car is located in Wind Gap Pennsylvania zip code 18091. He acquired this car recently on trade on another vehicle. Description is based on physical inspection and driving not long term ownership. The pictures tell the story. The body appears to have had a repaint. Trunk floor still has original paint. The VIN and DATA plate match the car. VIN U5FW249890. U= 272ci V8 2bbl engine 5=1955 F= Deerborn Michigan assembly plant W= Special Body Solid Top. Data Plate 64A Crown Victoria Solid Top, Paint RE Torch Red / Snowshoe White Production 6H6 built August 6th. All chrome and stainless looks great. Factory original tinted glass. Accessory bumper and grille guards, twin antennas, fender skirts, continental spare tire kit, dual exhaust. Chassis and driveline; 8-Volt battery, 272 engine, Ford-o-matic transmission, manual brakes, manual steering. Rides on Firestone FR380 P215/75R15” wide white radials. Interior appears to be 100% original. Radio and clock in great condition. This is not a 100 point car, nor is it priced as such. It was obviously garage kept. Very desirable color combination. Close inspection reveals a couple touch ups. It runs shifts and stops as it should. Underside pictures show integrity of floors and frame. An in person viewing is welcomed and encouraged for those who may doubt the condition. Needs of the car are as follows; vacuum wipers are weak. Radio comes on but doesnt pull stations.
