| This FJ40 is in excellent original condition with original paint and pin stripping. This is an amazing original condition US version FJ40 with 2F engine. This vehicle was a west coast cruiser and it does not have any of the problem areas that you typically see on these vehicles such as rear quarter panels, body mounts and floors. The hard top, doors, frame, ambulance doors, hood, floorboards and windshield (small crack) all in great shape. The rear panels, rear sill, front fenders, rear doors, fenders and body are all in great shape. I would estimate this landcruiser has 85% of its original paint. This is about as original as you're going to find. The front hood has quite a bit of patina from the sunlight fading the paint as shown in the pictures, but that proves the originality of it. There are some surface imperfections that you would expect to find on a 40 year old vehicle. There's a scratch on the rear right quarter panel (pic included), some paint chipped from small rocks hitting it over the years and there are a few small small areas that have some light pitting. If you look at the scratch picture and voom you will see a tiny pit below the emblem. Steering, clutch work great. Braking system works perfectly. I only drive this cruiser in nice weather and it's stored in my garage in the winter. Electrical, including all gauges work correctly. Upholstery - Front seats are in good condition (with head rests) with the drivers side having a some loose stitching (pic included below) Both rear jump seats are in excellent shape Drive Train - 4.2 liter 2F engine, 4-speed transmission and stock transfer case. The engine starts right up and has had a basic tune-up. Wheels/Tires - Brand new 31x10.50 15 Mud-Terrain on stock wheels that were sandblasted and powder coated. The headliner is in good condition and not sagging. The winch and roof rack are not included in this sale, but there is the original AM radio that goes with the sale. I hold a clear title to this vehicle.
